The effect of material on the humidity content of fabric was studied throughthe use of 04 fabrics with the same twill woven pattern but with differentmaterials (100% cotton, 100% polyester, TC, CVC). Fabric samples wereexperimentally conducted: Determination of yarn density according to TCVN1753: 1986 standard; Determining fabric composition according to standard5465-1: 2009; Determine the weight of fabric (g/m2) according to TCVN 8042:2009. After determining structural parameters, the fabric samples weremeasured moisture in accordance with TCVN 1750: 1986. From there, assessingthe effect of the material on the moisture content of the fabric. The resultsshowed that: The blending ratio of cotton and PE affects the humidity content ofthe fabric. The higher ratio of the cotton in yarn and fabric is, the higher thefabric humidity content is, and vice versa. The research results are the scientificbasis for the selection of fabric materials for sewing workwear for students ofHanoi University of Industry.
