Chemical investigation of Fissistigma balansae growing in Hoa Binh province, Vietnam led to the isolation and structural elucidation of six flavonoids named catechin (1), epicatechin (2), quercetin (3), pachypodol (4), quercetin 3-O-Beta-D-arabinopyranoside (5) and tiliroside [6"-O-trans-p-coumaroylastragalin (6)]. Their structures were determined on the basis of MS, NMR spectra and comparison with reported data.
