Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là nhằm đánh giá đặc điểm mô bệnh học theo phân loại Oxford 2016 trên các mẫu sinh thiết thận trong viêm thận ban xuất huyết Henoch Schonlein ở trẻ em. Nghiên cứu hồi cứu ở 70 trẻ viêm thận HSP ≤ 15 tuổi được sinh thiết thận tại Bệnh viên Nhi Trung ương trong 5 năm (2016-2020) và áp dụng phân loại theo tiêu chuẩn phân loại Oxford cập nhật 2016. Kết quả: 49 trẻ trai, 21 trẻ gái, tỷ lệ nam: nữ là 2,3: 1. Tuổi trung bình sinh thiết thận là 9.58 ± 3.05 tuổi, nhóm tuổi 6-10 tuổi gặp nhiều nhất (55,7%). Theo phân loại Oxford cập nhật, tỷ lệ các loại tổn thương tăng sinh gian mạch (M1), tăng sinh nội mạch (E1), xơ/dính cầu thận cục bộ (S1), teo ống thận/xơ mô kẽ (T1, T2) và liềm (C1, C2) lần lượt là 34 (48,6%), 32 (45,7%), 43 (61,4%), 3 (4,3% và 0%) và 47 (51,4% và 15,7%). Phân loại Oxford áp dụng cho chẩn đoán mô bệnh học viêm thận HSP giúp đánh giá toàn diện các chỉ số tổn thương cầu thận (M, E, S, C) và ống thận, mô kẽ (T), từ đó định hướng điều trị và tiên lượng bệnh.
