The results of this article "The situation of accessibility to clean water at community in 5 provinces Dien Bien, Kon Tum, An Giang, Dong Thap, Ninh Thuan, 2015" showed that the proportion of households having accessed to clean water was relatively high and was increased year by year. The results were appropriate with results found by the National Target Program on Clean Water and Sanitation in Rural Areas". The score of "risks that may cause polluted to water sources at households" was not significantly different between communes with and without "community-led total sanitation". It could be explained that the National Target Program had been implemented for 3 phases in all communes, and the results of this study could be considered as an evidence for the effectiveness of the National Target Program.
