Vietnam and China are members of the RCEP Agreement that comes into effect on 1 January, 2022. China is one of Vietnam's Largest agricultural export markets in terms of import-export turnover. Moreover, China remains largest consumer of Vietnam’s agricultural products in the RCEP bloc. However, there is a significant decrease in the export to the Chinese market in recent years. Thus, the study addresses the reality ofVietnam’s agricultural export to the Chinese market and assesses the impacts of China's tariff and non-tariff measures on Vietnam's agricultural exports by the gravity model and PPML method. Therefore, the research would propose various solutions in order to promote the Vietnam’s agricultural products to the Chinese market when RCEP agreement enters into force. The results of the research would show that tariffs and non-tariff measures such as China's TBT and SPS have a negative impact on Vietnam's agricultural exports.
