Nghiên cứu được tiến hành so sánh hiệu quả dự phòng tụt huyết áp khi khởi mê bằng propofol phối hợp với phenylephrine và ephedrine ở người cao tuổi. Đối tượng nghiên cứu bao gồm 103 bệnh nhân có chỉ định mổ theo chương trình được gây mê toàn thân, chia ngẫu nhiên thành ba nhóm propofol đơn thuần, propofol kết hợp ephedrine và propofol kết hợp phenylephrine. Các chỉ số nhịp tim, huyết áp tâm thu (HATT), huyết áp tâm trương (HATTr), huyết áp trung bình (HATB) được ghi nhận tại các thời điểm từ khi bắt đầu khởi mê đến khi sau đặt ống nội khí quản 10 phút. Kết quả cho thấy HATT, HATTr, HATB khi khởi mê của nhóm phối hợp propofol với ephedrine và với phenylephrine đều cao hơn có ý nghĩa nhóm dùng propofol đơn thuần khoảng 20%-30%, nhóm propofol kết hợp ephedrine có mức độ tụt huyết áp ít hơn nhóm propofol kết hợp phenylephrine nhưng khác biệt không có ý nghĩa thống kê. Nghiên cứu này cho thấy epherine và phenylephrine có tác dụng dự phòng tụt huyết áp khi khởi mê bằng propofol ở người cao tuổi và tác dụng gần tương đương với nhau.

This research was conducted to compare the effectiveness of prevention of hypotension on anesthesia induction with propofol combined with phenylephrine and ephedrine in the elderly. The study subjects included 103 patients admitted for surgery under general anesthesia, randomly divided into three groups propofol alone, propofol combined with ephedrin and propofol combined with phenylephrin. Heart rate, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were recorded at the time from onset of anesthesia until 10 minutes after intubation. Results showed that both ephedrine and phenylephrine combined with propofol during anesthesia induction had higher blood pressure than the group with propofol alone from 20 to 30% approximately, and the propofol combined with the ephedrin group had less hypotension than the propofol combined with phenylephrine group but the difference was not statistically significant. This study showed that the hypotension prophylactic efficacy of epherin and phenylephrine combined with propofol was approximately comparable in the elderly.
