"Sinh Hoa Thang" remedy is a classical remedy with many effects such as promoting blood circulation, anesthetic, body fluid production, helping uterine involution. It is often used for women after abortion. The objective of the study was to evaluate uterotonic effect of sinh hoa remedy in women after abortion. Method: prospective study, comparing before and after treatment. The results showed that after 5 days treating with the "Sinh Hoa Thang" remedy, ttie percentage of women with normal uterine size on ultrasound in the study group (73.4 percent) was higher than the control group (20.0 percent) with a statistical difference of p 0.01. In conclusion, the "Sinh Hoa Thang"remedy have uterotonic properties to help uterine involution after abortion.
