In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation has had a profound impact on all fields, including environmental measurement, observation and monitoring activities. The article studies digital transformation in measurement activities, focusing on environmental monitoring with advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain. These technologies help improve the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of environmental data while optimizing the data collection and processing process. The study analyzes digital transformation models implemented in several countries and concludes that the application of IoT, AI, and Blockchain can bring significant efficiency in environmental management. However, challenges such as high investment costs, stringent security requirements, and a shortage of skilled human resources remain barriers that need to be addressed.
