The isolation and furification process and physico-chemical properties of antifugal from strain Streptomyces sp. 5820 isolated from soil samples in Vietnam were studied. Antibiotic 5820 belongs to macrolide polyen groups. The antimicrobial activity of this antibiotic was determined by the dilution method. The agent was active strongly against phytopath ogenic fungi
