According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the current situation of child marriage in Vietnam (also known as early marriage in Vietnam) is a difficult problem for Viet Nam, although the government has taken steps to reduce child marriage. To reverse this practice, we need synchronous intervention solutions, consistent with local practices. The work of religion involves a lot of the poor, the uneducated, the disadvantaged (especially young people). Religion's efforts to prevent child marriage around the world have been recognized, and what about in Vietnam? The purpose of the article below is to mention the role of religion in addressing child marriage in Vietnam today.
