Resulted from the field study at the rivers and streams within Kon Ka Kinh National Park in 2011 and 2, a total of 100 species belonging to 51 families, 9 orders of aquatic insects were identified. Among, Trichoptera contains 20 species (13 families), accounted for 20 percent of the total species number; genera comprises 19 species (2 families), accounted for 19 percent; Ephemeroptera consists of 17 species families), accounted for 17 percent; Diptera includes 13 species (8 families), accounted for 13 percent; Coleoptera 13 species (7 families), accounted for 13 percent; Odonata consists of 10 species (6 families), listed for 10 percent; Hemiptera is represented by 6 species (5 families), accounted for 6 percent; and Lepidoptera species, 1 family) and Megaloptera (1 species, 1 family) have the same species richness rate of 1 percent is a preliminary result only and suppose that current checklist of aquatic insects is certainly far from total species diversity of the study area. The biodiversity indexes (H' and d) showed that the biodiversity of aquatic insects in the study area. General indexes d and H' are relatively high and there is no significant difference between the studying points, d ranged from 6.08 to 9.35 corresponds to a very rich diversity and H are ranged from 2.76 percent corresponds to a fairly or good diversity.
