Mathematical modeling are widely applied in dirferent fields because of advantages that it can change flexible plans, short time calculation andlarge range. Currently,the calculation of design hydrology for drainage work on the road often use the empirical formula (22TCN273-05)[5]. In the climate change, the parametershas changed so using the mathematical model is necessary. This paper presents the research and application of hydrologic mathematical modeling (HEC-HMS) combined with geographic information systems (GIS) to calculate flood in Thac Gieng bridge in Sac Kan province. Initial results show the suitability and usability of the HEC-HMS model to calculatedesignflood for bridges.
