Processing large wave and current data recorded from field measurements is the hard work and spends a lot of time. For example with the measuring time inthree days deploying at water level depth ten metters, fifteen layers and a fifteen-minute period between consecutive samples, the authors will receive a large mount of raw data. If processing these raw data manually, it will work hard, besides that the authors will make mistakes easily. In recent years, performancing measurements and processes of wave and current data recorded at the oceanic areas in the Center and South of Vietnam by the Department of Oceanic Mechanics and Environment of Institue of Applied Mechanics and Informatics, the authors have been experiencing for measuring and processing wave and current data. Although, there are some softwares for processing wave and current data in the world, for example MIKE and Oriana, but these tools are expensive commercial products, furthermore, the authors cannot add more components to them for the specific using purposes. So building a computer tool for processing wave and current data is essential. This paper will present the process of building this computer tool for processing wave and current data, include showing results processing the field data recorded.
