Base on Red data book Vietnam (2007), IUCN Red List 2012, Decree No.32/2006 of Vietnam Goverment, there are 29 threatned plant species in Van Xuan and Xuan Cam commune, Xuan Lien Natural Reserve. Among them there are 21 species in Red Data Book Vietnam (2007); 12 species in Red List IUCN 2012 and 13 species in Decree No.32/2006 of Vietnam Goverment. During the investigating field, the authors find out these species mainly distributed in high moutain, at upper 700m, and rare, some species scatter. There are 12 species are commercial in local especially such as Homalomena giigantea, Anoectochilus calcareus, Anoectochilus setaceus, Ardisia silvestris, Dendrobium nobile. Some species were common but now they become rare. This is the result of destroyable habitat, fire, non rational exploit by human. The authors need some conservation measures them as soon as possible.
