Nghiên cứu tác động của nợ công đến tăng trưởng kinh tế tại Việt Nam, bằng cách sử dụng dữ liệu chuỗi thời gian trong giai đoạn từ quý 1 năm 2000 đến quý 1 năm 2021. Mô hình NARDL được sử dụng để xem xét tác động bất cân xứng của các biến tăng trưởng cung tiền mở rộng, lãi suất cho vay, tỷ giá USD/VND và nợ công đến tăng trưởng kinh tế của Việt Nam. Kết quả của nghiên cứu này chỉ ra tác động cân bằng ngắn hạn và dài hạn chung giữa nợ công và tăng trưởng kinh tế. Tác động nợ công ghi nhận những hiệu ứng tích cực và những hiệu ứng tiêu cực đối với tăng trưởng kinh tế của Việt Nam. Nợ công có những tác động tích cực đến tăng trưởng của nền kinh tế, nhưng khi nợ công gia tăng vượt một ngưỡng xác định thì sẽ trở thành gánh nặng, có những hiệu ứng tiêu cực đối với nền kinh tế.

This paper investigates the impact of public debt on economic growth in Vietnam, using time series data for the period f-rom quarter I, 2000 to quarter I, 2021. The NARDL model is used for the review. The disproportionate impact of the expansionary money supply growth variables, lending interest rates, USD/VND exchange rate and public debt on Vietnam’s economic growth. The results of this study indicate a general short-term and long-term balancing effect between public debt and economic growth. The public debt impact recognizes both positive and negative effects on Vietnam’s economic growth. Public debt has positive effects on economic growth, but when public debt increases beyond a certain threshold, it will become a burden and have negative effects on the economy.
