Recently, the issue of public debt in the USA and Europe is being mentioned as a hot topic in the world economy. Many economic experts have warned thatVietnam's public debt is at a dangerous level and in rapidly increasing trend. The fact remains many issues surrounding public debt and public gebt management activities in Vietnam leads to potential risks in the future. This paper provides analysis of the current situation of public debt and public debtmanagement in Vietnam. From this, the authors offer debt management solutions towards sustainabilify in Vietnam.
