Trong nghề nghiệp luật sư, tận tâm, trách nhiệm, vì công lý để bảo vệ tốt nhất quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp cho khách hàng vừa là sứ mệnh nghề nghiệp, vừa là phẩm chất đạo đức căn cốt của một luật sư chuyên nghiệp và liêm chính. Khi cung cấp dịch vụ pháp lý cho khách hàng, những quyết định của luật sư thường có thể ảnh hưởng không nhỏ số phận pháp lý của một cá nhân hay một doanh nghiệp. Vì vậy, luật sư phải tuân thủ nghiêm ngặt các chuẩn mực đạo đức nghề nghiệp, nhất là Quy tắc bảo vệ tốt nhất quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp của khách hàng3. Bài viết tập trung phân tích, luận giải quy tắc này từ phương diện lý luận và thực tiễn, từ đó trao đổi, rút ra những bài học kinh nghiệm về việc thực hiện quy tắc này phù hợp với bối cảnh hành nghề mới của luật sư tại Việt Nam thời gian tới.

In the legal profession, dedication, responsibility, and acting for justice to best protect clients' legitimate rights and interests are both a professional mission and a core ethical quality of a professional lawyer with integrity. When providing legal services to clients, lawyers' decisions can often significantly affect the legal standing or outcomes of an individual or a business. Therefore, lawyers must strictly adhere to professional ethical standards, especially the principle of best protecting the legitimate rights and interests of clients. This article focuses on analyzing and expounding upon this rule f-rom two perspectives: theory and practice. Consequently, it discusses and draws practical lessons regarding the implementation of this rule, in line with the new practice context for lawyers in Vietnam in the coming time.
