School violence has long been considered a serious social problem in schools, which not only badly affects students, but also ruins the school environment, causing confusion and anxiety among parents with school-age children. From varied perspectives including psychology, sociology, education, criminology, etc., research on school violence in Vietnam today has been conducted on specific aspects such as the relationship between gender and violence behavior, the linkage between emotion and aggression, subjective causes of violence; intervention mechanisms, prevention of violence in schools. The article overviews the situation and causes of school violence in Vietnam in the past 10 years.
