The article discusses the views on people's ownership rights in the social field. Research results show that Vietnam has made significant achievements in the institutionalization of the law to ensure people's ownership right in the social field, including the right to social security, the right to access poverty reduction resources, access to basic services. However, the implementation of these rights in reality is inevitably limited due to market failures, insufficient government intervention and insufficient role of the private sector. On that basis, the article proposes solutions to promote the realization ofpeople's rights in the social field in Vietnam.
