Mountainous areas of Nghe An has many advantages in developing agriculture - forestry - fishery: large areas of land, various dimates, large tracts of forest. Initially, agriculture, forestry and fishery of Nghe An mountainous areas has developed in the direction of commodity production: increasing the area, the crop-livestock production with valuation in goods, developed farm economy, established intensive farming regions. However, agricultural production in mountainous areas is still of a fragmented spontaneous nature. So to boost agriculture - forestry - fishery upland development towards production of goods there must be investment in infrastructure, human resources training, development of processing industries, expansion of farms.
