Xem xét ảnh hưởng của phong cách làm cha mẹ đến vấn đề sức khỏe tâm thần của học sinh phổ thông. Nghiên cứu được thiết kế trường diễn với 2 lần đo, cách nhau 12 tháng. Khách thể nghiên cứu gồm 314 cha mẹ của các em học sinh 6 trường THCS và 6 trường THPT địa bàn nội và ngoại thành Hà Nội. Các công cụ được sử dụng trong nghiên cứu bao gồm thang đo Hành vi làm cha mẹ (Children's Report of Parent Behaviour Inventory-CRPBI) phiên bản dành cho cha mẹ và Bảng kiểm về các vấn đề hành vi của trẻ em (Child Behavior Checklist-CBCL). Kết quả nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra, ở cùng thời điểm đo, các phong cách làm cha mẹ tương quan với vấn đề sức khỏe tâm thần, ở các lần đo trước và lần đo sau, phong cách làm cha mẹ hỗ trợ tâm lý là một yếu tố trung gian, có tác động tích cực đến việc giảm thiêu các vấn đề sức khỏe tâm thần tổng thể, rối loạn hướng nội và hướng ngoại. Kết quả nghiên cứu khẳng định vai trò quan trọng của việc nâng cao kỹ năng làm cha mẹ trong các chưorng trình phòng ngừa và can thiệp các vấn đề sức khỏe tâm thần ở trẻ em.
 

The study aims to examine the impact of parenting style on children's mental health problems. It was designed longitudinally with two waves with a 12-month interval. The sample included 314 parents ofstudents at six secondary and six high schools in rural and urban areas of Hanoi. The measurement tools used in the study included Children's Report of Parent Behavior Inventory (CRPBI) and Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). Parenting styles were shown to be mostly correlated with mental health problems. Psychological support parenting style was found to be a mediator variable, having an impact on the overall mental health problems, internalizing and externalizing problems. Understanding role of parenting style in Vietnam is important for including parent training programs into mental health prevention and intervention programs for children.
