To specify the glomerular complication rate and evaluate renal function in patients with type 2 diabetes melitus, research has been carried out on 316 patients with type 2 diabetes. The results were as follows:- The average age of diabete melitus patients: 66.4 + or - 12.6 years old; diagnosed time of diabetes: 8.2 + or - 7.1 years. - There are 29.4 percent of diabete melitus patients had glomerular complication, in which 38.7 percent in early disease stage and 61.3 percent in late disease stage. - Patients with glomerular filtration rate 60 ml/min accounting for 54.4 percent, 60 ml/min (chronic kidney disease stage III to V) accounted for 45.6 percent.
