The experiment was conducted for 90 days at Experimental Station, Institute of Oceanography with treatments: 0.1 percent FOS, 0.2 percent FOS, 0.4 percent FOS, 0.8 percent FOS and control (0.0 percent FOS). The growth rate and survival were determined after 30.60 and 90 days of study. Some physiological parameters (TMI: tail muscle index, HSI: hepatosomatic index, HM: hepatopancreas moisture, and TM: tail muscle moisture) were determined at the end of the experiment. The results showed that specific growth rate (SRGw) was highest in treatment of 0 percent FOS (3.70 +/- 0.045 percent/day) and lowest in treatment of 0.8 percent FOS (3.51 +/- 0.045 percent/day). The average weight (AWG) of shrimp was gained maximum value (0.45 +/- 0.017 g/week) in treatment of 0.2 percent FOS and lowest value (0.38 +/- 0.015 g/week) in treatment of 0.8 percent FOS. The HSIw of shrimps fed diets which supplemented with 0.4 percent FOS were highest. However, the TMIw showed a lowest value when FOS is added to food (p 0.05). There were no significant differences in other physiological indicators (TM, HM and TMId HSId) between groups when they fed with different concentrations of FOS. Results showed that the feed which supplemented of 0.2 - 0.4 percent FOS improved the health of shrimp farming.
