The authors conduct a clinical intervention study on 08 patients indicated and agree treated with Diode Laser 810nm (gum removal, treatment of gingivitis in place) at Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital; some initially conclusions as following: . Diode laser treatment is a good method, can be applied to all ages. Diode Laser can be used for Surgery in superficial and deep gum. Surgery with Diode Laser reduced gingival pocket depth, improved gingival index rapidly, shorten wound healing time, caused less pain. The research results are the scientific basic for the applying Laser Diode treatment widely at dental units in Hanoi for better effectiveness compare to routine treatment.
