Fifty four forest plantations of Tectona grandis Linn. f. in Son La province have been studied. The results have shown that 33 of 54 plantations have left biased N/D1.3 distribution what means that these plantations have many less grown trees. Almost all plantations have N/H (53/54 plantations) and N/D (52/54 plantations) distribution that follows Weibull function. The value ranges between 2.5-3.6 what means that plantation is in the process of development and has a typical forest structure. The correlationl between H and D1.3, D1 and D1.3 of the plantations are high and are the evidence of crown interfering and space concurrence. The tree classification has shown that 24.93-27.47 percent of trees belong to classes IV.V, these trees should be removed in order to enhance space using effectiveness.
