The study evaluated the potential of geothermal in Vietnam have identified geothermal resources and geothermal areas prospects. The distributions of geothermal resources in the coastal areas are concentrated in three main areas: the Northern Plains. South Central and Southern Plains. Results of evaluation studies show that coastal areas of South Central have high potential for exploitation and utilization of geothermal energy for different purposes.
