Aims: In the current study, the authors developed a method for induction of chronic renal failure in mice. Methods: Mice were lightly forced adenine ingestion with dose of 120mg/kg body weigh every 2 days and prolong in one month. Results: Adenine treated mice were showed higher uremia and creatinine levers than that in control group (p0.05). Histopathology showed the lesion on glomerulus and mesangial proliferation. Conclusions: the authors were succesful in induce the uniqe model of chronic renal failure in mice by using adenin.
