This paper presents the results of substituting Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (BHKP) by Preconditioning Refiner Chemical Alkaline Peroxide Mechanical Pulp (P-RC-APMP) from Acacia mangium in production of printing and writing papers. It was shown that more than 50 percent of BHKP could be replaced by P-RC-APMP, papers produced from that blend had the values of tensile strength and tear index twice higher with improved ISO brightness and opacity compared to the standards requirements of TCVN 6886:2001 and TCVN 5899:2001 for printing and writing papers (grade B).
