Champasak province is the center of economy, culture and the nuclear of Southern Lao People's Democratic Republic. Champasak has geographical location and favorable natural conditions for levelopment of agriculture. In the process of economic development, the total value of agricultural production are accounted about 45 percent GDP of province. The results achieved in the production and directions in the fields of territorial organization, development of productial forms, capital investment, infrastructure in he present and future period of the province has confirmed a strengthen developing agriculture on modernization.
