Presently, bus plays a very important role in public transportation in Hanoi. But accidents caused by buses are remarkable damages to common traffic. Thus this paper aims at identifying factors causing unsafe operation of buses. From the analysis of the above reasons, this subject recommends a number of feasible solutions such as an increase in turning radius, rearrangement of transportation at some intersections and improvements in working conditions of bus drivers for more convenience and safe operation of buses.
