Nghiên cứu được tiến hành nhằm đánh giá hiệu quả bảo vệ cá bớp khỏi bệnh mù mắt do vi khuẩn Streptococcus iniae gây ra ở cá bớp của vaccine bất hoạt. Kết quả thí nghiệm cho thấy vaccine hoàn toàn an toàn với cá bớp (không có sự khác biệt về chiều dài và khối lượng giữa cá thí nghiệm và cá đối chứng, không có bất kì dấu hiệu bất thường nào được quan sát ở xoang bụng cá được tiêm vaccine). Trong thí nghiệm công cường độc, vaccine đã bảo vệ cho cá khỏi bệnh do S. iniae gây ra với hệ số bảo hộ (RPS) là 85,19% tương ứng với liều tiêm là 104 CFU/cá. Hiệu giá kháng thể trung bình trong huyết thanh của cá tiêm vaccine là 19,7 trong khi ở cá đối chứng là 0.

The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of inactivated vaccines against Streptococcus iniae bacteria causing blindness in cobia. The test results showed that inactivated vaccine was completely safe for cobia. (There was no difference in length and weight between experimental and control fi sh, no abnormalities were observed in intraperitoneal of immunized fi sh). In challenging trials, the inactivated vaccine effectively protected the cobia from S. iniae with a Relative Survival Rate (RPS) of 85.19% corresponding to the injection dose of 104 CFU / fi sh. The antibody titre of immunized fi sh was 19.7 while in control fi sh it was 0.
