Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm xác định tính đa dạng thành phần loài động vật đáy ở khu vực nuôi tôm vào mùa mưa tỉnh Cà Mau để tìm hiểu sự thay đổi về thành phần loài, mật độ của chúng tại khu vực này và làm cơ sở cho việc xây dựng quan trắc sinh học về môi trường nước ở khu vực nuôi tôm nước lợ. Thu mẫu động vật đáy tại 9 điểm vào mùa mưa ở tháng 6 và tháng 9/2019. Kết quả ghi nhận 34 loài, 31 giống, 24 họ, 16 bộ, 5 lớp thuộc 3 ngành. Số loài theo từng đợt thu dao động từ 2-11 loài tương ứng với mật độ từ 9-2.547 cá thể/m2. Tổng số loài động vật đáy vào tháng 6 là 23 loài thấp hơn so với tháng 9 với 25 loài; tổng số lượng cá thể vào thời điểm tháng 6 cao hơn gấp 2,5 lần so với tháng 9. Thành phần loài và mật độ lớp Gastropoda chiếm cao nhất. Ở mức độ tương đồng 18,9% cho thấy sự phân bố động vật đáy tại 9 vị trí thu mẫu chia thành ba nhóm tại khu vực nghiên cứu. Chỉ số đa dạng Shannon (H’) dao động từ 0,3-1,8 cho thấy mức độ đa dạng động vật đáy theo vị trí và thời gian thu mẫu đạt mức rất thấp đến vừa ở khu vực nuôi tôm vào mùa mưa, tỉnh Cà Mau.

The study aimed to determine the species diversity and composition of the benthic communities during the rainy season within the shrimp culture areas in Ca Mau province. The purpose of this study was to find the changes in species composition, and density distribution within the shrimp culture area as the basis for biological monitoring of the water quality in brackishwater shrimp farming areas. Benthic samples were collected at 9 sites in June and September, 2019. The results showed a total of 34 benthic species belonging to 31 genera, 24 families, 16 orders, 5 classes and 3 phylums. The number of species were variation among the sampling sites, f-rom 2 to 11 species with a density ranged f-rom 9 to 2,547 inds/m2. There were 23 benthos species identified during June, lower than those in September with 25 species. Additionally, the density of the zoobenthos in June were observed 2.5 times higher in comparison to those in September. The species composition and density of Gastropoda were highest within the study area. The similarity of the distribution of benthos was 18.9% at 9 sampling sites and divided into three groups. Shannon diversity index (H') ranged f-rom 0.3 to 1.8, which indicated that the benthic diversity richness c-haracterized by sampling location and time was low to moderate in the shrimp culture areas during rainy season
