Hứng thú học tập có vai trò quan trọng trong quá trình dạy học. Ở Việt Nam, việc ứng dụng công nghệ thực tế tăng cường trong dạy học nói chung và dạy học Hóa học nói riêng vẫn còn mới mẻ. Bài viết trình bày một số cơ sở lí luận, thực tiễn, các nguyên tắc, quy trình, định hướng ứng dụng công nghệ thực tế tăng cường trong dạy học Hóa học. Ngoài ra, bài viết còn giới thiệu 8 sản phẩm thực tế tăng cường về môn Hóa học được thiết kế bằng CoSpaces Edu. Kết quả thực nghiệm sư phạm trên 40 học sinh cho thấy việc ứng dụng công nghệ thực tế tăng cường trong dạy học Hóa học có thể nâng cao hứng thú học tập cho học sinh về mặt xúc cảm và hành động. Điều này bước đầu chứng minh tính hiệu quả của việc ứng dụng công nghệ thực tế tăng cường nhằm nâng cao hứng thú học tập cho học sinh trong dạy học nội dung Hóa học hữu cơ lớp 11 trung học phổ thông.
