Đánh giá kết quả điều trị và phục hồi chức năng sau phẫu thuật của trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng. Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Tiến hành nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 196 trẻ dưới 15 tuổi có dị tật ke hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng đến khám và điều trị tại Bệnh viện Răng Hàm Mặt Trung ương Hà Nội năm 2019-2021. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ xuất hiện biến chứng sớm sau mổ 1 tuần khá cao (58,7%), trong đó tụ máu, bầm tím thường gặp nhất (83,5%). Khả năng nhai được cải thiện rõ rệt nhất sau phẫu thuật và đạt trên 85% sau 6 tháng, tiếp đến là khả năng phát âm. Tỷ lệ sẹo co kéo nhẹ và sẹo to mất thẩm mỹ sau 1 tháng và 6 tháng mổ vẫn chiếm đa số. Trẻ có biểu hiện, thay đổi tích cực để hòa nhập với cộng đồng, xã hội. Kết luận: Nghiên cứu cho thấy tác động tích cực của phẫu thuật trong cải thiện sức khỏe thể chất, tâm thần và chức năng của trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng mặc dù tỷ lệ biến chứng sớm sau phẫu thuật khá cao. Tuy nhiên trẻ vẫn phải đối mặt với một số rào cản để hòa nhập, thích nghi với cộng đồng.

To evaluate the outcomes of treatment and rehabilitation of children with cleft lip and/or cleft palate who underwent surgery. Methodology: CA cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 196 children under 15 years of age with cleft lip and/or palate who attended treatment at Hanoi Central Odonto-Stomatology Hospital in 2019-2021. Results: The rate of early complications occurring within the first one weeks after surgery was quite high (58.7%) in which hematoma and bruising were the most common (83.5%). The ability to chew improved most markedly after surgery and reached over 85% after 6 months, followed by the ability to pronounce. The rate of slightly stretched scars and hypertrophic scar within the first one month and six months after surgery still accounted for the majority. Children have positive expressions and changes to integrate into the community and society. Conclusion: The study showed a positive impact of surgery in improving the physical, mental and functional health of children with cleft lip and/or cleft palate despite the early complication rate after surgery being quite high. However, children still face some barriers to integrating and adapting to the community.
