The study used hydrodynamic models Mike 21 and Mike 3 to simulate hydrodynamic regimes in the coastal area of Ninh Thuan - Ca Mau and their changes caused by wind power activities in the coastal area of Bac Lieu province. The research team simulated and estimated the hydrodynamic processes in the northeast and southwest monsoon conditions with two scenarios, scenario 1 (KB1) in the area where wind power poles exist and scenario 2 (KB2) area without wind power poles. The results showed that at 7 test points the maximum current speed (Vmax) in both Northeast and Southwest monsoon conditions in the area of existing wind power poles was always larger than the scenario without wind poles. This clear difference is shown from the surface layer to the bottom layer. During the Northeast monsoon period, the dynamic differentiation is stronger than that of the Southwest monsoon period. The results of assessment of sediment transport across four typical cross-sections show that in the coastal area, there are wind power poles that accumulate and erosion while in the other coastal areas there is no wind power pole system such as Ganh Hao and Vinh Trach Dong appeared in the process of coastal erosion.
