This research was conducted as an attempt to adapt Adolescent's Self-Injury Scale (ASIS) - Chinese version into Vietnamese context. Results showed positive measurements on validity and reliability of ASIS: Cronbach's alpha = 0.887; convergent validity r = 0.553; divergent validity r = 0.133; high criteria validity r = 0.675. These results implied that the scale could be used to obtain accurate, scientific and objective results for researches on self-injury behaviours of Vietnamese adolescents.
