Climate is one of the most important factors affecting all the activities of the human race. In tourism, the climate is considered to be the factor influencing people's health and the factors affecting the operation process of the industry. To assess the contribution ofbioclimatic conditions to tourism development, it is very significant to set up the bioclimatic map. By using this map, it is possible to show the favorable bioclimatic conditions for the development of tourism. The paper presents the significance, role of the establishment of the map classifying the bio-climatic conditions for the development of tourism in Quang Ninh - Hai Phong. Based on the principles, methods, procedures and the system of criteria, the 1:100,000 scale map has been set up. The result shows that, within the designated area, there are 13 different bioclimatic types carrying different climatic features and each type serves different types of tourism.
