Quality and quality management played an important role at higher education institutions. Enhancing quality of higher education is the only solution for these institutions to complete their mission: provide high quality human resource for national cause of industrialization and modernization, up to regional level, reach to international level of higher education. However, nowadays, there have been shortages in terms of current education quality and quality management. The article refers to research trends of quality assurance at international higher education, making contribution to clarify scientific background in quality assurance, then improving higher education in Vietnam.
