This was a cross-sectional descriptive study conducted among mothers of children under 6 years of age in Sonia province on knowledge and practice of dermatological disease prevention for children. Results showed that: 58.7 percent of mothers did not know the cause for dermatological disease; 57.7 percent of mother did not know kinds of dermatological/disease which could transmit to other people; 77.6 percent of them indicated that dermatological diseases were curable; 21.5 percent said that dermatological disease could be recurrent. about 74.6 percent.
