Gia Lam is a suburban district of Hanoi, the natural area of the district is 11472.99 ha. Of which, agricultural land accounts for 53.63 percent; non-agricultural land 44.82 percent; unused land 1.54 percent. The amount of agricultural land certified takes 53,96 percent out of total area of agricultural land need to be issued. The area of dwelling land granted certificates makes up 59.81 percent of the total area in certified need. The non-agricultural land area granted certificates is 16,44 percent in comparison to the total non-agricultural land area need to be granted. To make the land registration the first time and land use certification more effective, there is a need of implementing synchronization solutions: Solutions for the organizations of land use; agricultural land, policy, land laws; investment and technological solutions.
