The article reports on research and application of wave propagation in the marine environment; mentioned the difference of the marine environment in the application of wave propagation (radio frequency waves on the sea and acoustic wave in the seabed). If the possibility and potential applications of the methods for collecting, transmitting and processing information for the object operations related to the marine environment. It is a subtle combination of forms of communication, surveillance and maritime warning. AIso, talk about some trends of building and sustainable development of marine science in general and in particular the field of wave propagationfor the East Sea.
