Tỉ lệ nạn nhân bắt nạt trực tuyến trong sinh viên có xu hướng ngày càng gia tăng. Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là đánh giá ảnh hưởng của tần suất trải nghiệm bắt nạt trực tuyến, tự trọng, hỗ trợ xã hội và các chiến lược ứng phó đối với các triệu chứng trầm cảm ở nạn nhân bắt nạt trực tuyến trong sinh viên Việt Nam. 606 nạn nhân bị bắt nạt trực tuyến trong sinh viên Việt Nam đã hoàn thành phiếu khảo sát nhằm đánh giá tần suất bị bắt nạt trực tuyến, mức độ tự trọng, hỗ trợ xã hội, tần suất sử dụng các chiến lược ứng phó và triệu chứng trầm cảm. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy thường xuyên sử dụng chiến lược ứng phó né tránh, tự trọng thấp, thường xuyên bị bắt nạt trực tuyến và hỗ trợ xã hội thấp có liên quan đến sự gia tăng các triệu chứng trầm cảm, nhưng chiến lược ứng phó đối mặt không liên quan đáng kể đến việc giảm các triệu chứng trầm cảm. Nghiên cứu này có ý nghĩa quan trọng trong việc phát triển các chương trình phòng ngừa trầm cảm cho nạn nhân bị bắt nạt trực tuyến trong sinh viên Việt Nam

The prevalence of cyberbullying victimization among college students tends to increase. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of frequency of cyberbullying victimization, self-esteem, social support and coping strategies on depression symptoms among Vietnamese college students. 606 college students who were victims of cyberbullying completed a questionnaire to evaluate frequency of cyberbullying victimization, level of self-esteem, social support, and frequency of using coping strategies. Results indicated that frequency of cyberbullying victimization and avoidance coping strategies were associated with increase depressive symptoms; meanwhile, social support, self-esteem, and approach coping strategies were associated with decreased depressive symptoms. This research has important implications in developing depression prevention programs for cyberbullying victimization among Vietnamese college students.
