DIC is a syndrome caused by many diseases and it is one cause of death for patients, especially in the case with acute DIC. A prompt and accurate diagnosis of DIC is the vital factor in the successful treatment of this bleeding disorder. By practical diagnosis of DIC in National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion , by referring to some protocols of treatment all over the world, by consulting some experts and colleagues, by conducting surveys on the facilities condition of the Hematology laboratory across the country, the authors would like to propose a standard protocol in testing and diagnosis of DIC, including both full and minimum protocol. The authors hope that the proposed protocol will be discussed, extended or corrected so that it will be more complete.
