The Theravada in Vietnam attached to Khmer people in the South. In the common tendency of the Buddhism's incarnation, the Theravada in the South has had many positive activities in order to orient the Buddhists in particular and people who love Buddhism in general towards the value of life. Nevertheless, studying the religious activities of the Theravada, the previous research generally mentioned the South West region of Vietnam and it rarely indicated the Ho Chi Minh city because the number of Khmer people there is small and the traditional practice of their Theravada. This article presents the incarnation activities of the Theravada of Khmer people in Ho Chi Minh city and it confirms the traditional incarnation of the Theravada in the context of integration with other ethnic communities in the urban area.
