The 26th Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in the United Kingdom in November 2021 reaffirmed the goal of pursuing efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels compared to holding the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, which the Parties member adopted at COP21 in France in 2015. As of August 2022, more than 100 countries, including Vietnam, have committed to net - zero emission targets from 2035 to 2070. To accomplish the commitment to net-zero emission targets, many countries have developed implementation plans with specific roadmaps, methods and priority solutions for each sector, field, and national advantage.
