Objectives: Studying in 133 older people aged 65 and older, living in Yen So, Hoang Mai district, to descript the curent status model caivties and periodontal disease in this group. Methods: Descriptive studies, cross-sectional analysis on a 133 people over 65 subjects, randomly selected from the list of social demography. Results: The rate of decay of over 65 at medium level density is 36,84 percent, DT = 0,84, + or - 1,55,DMFT = 5,34 + or - 6,47. MT = 4,19 + or - 6,04, SiC at high level density: 12,81 + or - 6,47. 1,72. 89,2 percent people over 65 has periodontal disease, 70,54 percent people over 65 needs calculs removeal. 1,72 percent people over 75 and 0 percent at the age 65 - 74 needs periodontal surgery. 63,91 percent has tooth loss, 3,01 percent is edentulous. Conclusion: The significant caries index of the group of elderly poeple over 65 in Yen So, Hoang Mai, Ha Noi is in high level deposit, the periodontal treatment needs is very high. The state of tooth loss is high.
