Green Practices in the Accommodation Industry: The Role of Green Organizational Trust, Green Organizational Identity, and Green Transformation Leadership

Green practices behavior has become an important topic in research on sustainable development. However, most of the green practices behavior researchers mainly focus on the general problem while the fundamental factors within the organization that explain green practices behavior have not yet been properly resolved thoroughly in practices behavior have not yet been properly resolved thoroughly in a variety of market perspectives. The study uses a structural equation model to analyze data obtained f-rom 315 employees at high-end hotels/resorts in Vietnam. Results 5/5 hypotheses are supported. Green practices behavior is influenced by: Green organizational trust, green organizational identity and green transformational leadership. Additionally, green organizational identity plays a completely mediating role in the relationship between green transformation leadership and green practices behavior. In particular, the relationship between green transformational leadership and green practice innovation is enhanced by the moderator role of organizational trust. Based on the research results, the article proposes a number of policy recommendations to help organizations promote the role of employees in enhancing green practices behavior.
