Các nghiên cứu ở nước ngoài đã xác nhận rằng, sự tự tin có thể tăng cường sự sẵn sàng với thay đổi. Mục đích của nghiên cứu là tìm hiểu mối quan hệ này ở giáo viên phổ thông trong bối cảnh phải đối mặt với nhiều thay đổi từ đổi mới giáo dục. Mẫu nghiên cứu thuận tiện gồm 594 giáo viên đang giảng dạy tại các trường phổ thông công lập. Bảng hỏi với các thang đo đủ độ tin cậy và độ giá trị được sử dụng trong thiết kế điều tra theo lát cắt ngang. Kết quả cho thấy, tự tin có khả năng dự báo cho tâm thế với đổi mới của giáo viên với biên độ 18%. Mối quan hệ này là như nhau giữa nam và nữ giáo viên nhung có sự khác biệt nhất định giữa giáo viên ở các cấp dạy khác nhau, trong đó với cùng mức tự tin, giáo viên THCS có mức độ sẵn sàng thấp hơn cả. Ý nghĩa của kết quả nghiên cứu cũng được bàn luận trong bài viết này.

Studies abroad have confirmed that self-efficacy can enhance readiness for change. The aim of this study was to explore this relationship among school teachers in the context of many changes as a result of an educational reform that they had to face. The convenient sample consisted of 594 public school teachers. The questionnaire with reliable and valid scales for assessing self-efficacy and readiness to educational reform was used in the cross-sectional design. The results showed that self-efficacy predicted the teacher's readiness with a variance of 18%. This relationship was the same between male and female teachers, but there was a certain difference between teachers in different school levels. At the same level of self-efficacy, middle school teachers reported lower levels of readiness. The implications of the research results have been discussed.
