Mid-Central Vietnam's region is strongly affected by climate change due to its specific geographical iocation and topographical conditions. The analysis results of the trends of climatic factors such as air temperature, precipitation and extreme weather events including storms and heat in the period of 1981-2008 showed the increasing trend of the climatic factors in each decade. The territory south of the region tended to increase more than other areas. Forecast results for the variation of air temperature and precipitation showed the average temperature rise evenly in the 21st century. Winter temperature was rising faster than summer temperature. Precipitation also tended to increase and the highest increase at the end of the 21st century. Regarding seasonal precipitation, the amount of precipitation decreased in winter and spring however tended to increased in summer and autumn. Sea levels are predicted to rise by 102cm according to high scenario and 74cm according to average scenario in 2100.
