Based on bee and wasp specimens collected by malaise traps in 2009, there are 2 families with 7 genera and 11 species of the superfamily Apoidea; 3 subfamilies with 8 genera and 19 species of the family Vespidae; 15 subfamilies with 39 genera and 95 species of the family Braconidae; 15 subfamilies with 45 genera and 89 species of the family Ichneumonidae recorded in the buffer zone of Xuan Son National Park. Species of the families Apidae and Braconidae tend to concentrate more in habitats of orchards and rehabilitation forests and less in habitats adjacent to protected forests. Most species of the family Vespidae concentrate often more in rehabilitation forests and habitats adjacent to protected forests and were less observed in orchards.
